This limited edition professional-level drum has deep carvings that encompass two important spiritual symbols. The Gye Nyame on one side, meaning “except for God” represents the supremacy of God in Akan Cosmology. The Pentacle on the other side, though misrepresented in modern times, has five points that symbolize Air, Water, Earth, Fire, and most importantly Spirit, pointed up toward heaven. Comes with a free gold celestial design drum strap and instructional dvd. Drum measures 23”-24” tall with a 13”-14” overall head diameter.
