Our Ashikos have wonderfully resonant rim tones and deep bass. Their sound is so distinct you can pick them out of any drum circle. This ashiko has a mahogany shell depicting a tribal moon mask carving, and fur around the rim for comfort play—fur color will vary. Shell made from one-piece of sustainably-harvested mahogany heartwood. Headed with untreated goat skin and non-stretch internally-braided nylon rope.
