This professional three-ring djembe is carved with the Akoko Nan, the African Adinkran symbol of nurture and discipline. Drum measures 23”-24” tall with a 13”-14” overall head diameter and a 11”-12” playing surface. (Please note that items on close-out may have slight cosmetic blemishes but nothing affecting the performance of the drum).

Professional Djembe Features:

• Three-ring system at the head for elimination of skin slippage and more stable tuning system
• Natural untreated goat skin taken from the goat’s spine.
• Lateral-groove rough-surfaced carvings on the shell’s interior bowl to reduce overtones.
• A total of 35 rope-runner pairs (70 total laterals) provides more stable and even tuning.
